Preparing the next generation of innovators for success in life as information-savvy global citizens.
The library was originally located in Founder’s Hall, one of the four original buildings on campus. A standalone building, the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Library, was constructed in 1996. The library is the epicenter of Lynn’s academic community, where students, faculty, and staff converge to take advantage of the many resources and services that support learning at Lynn. Our holdings consist of millions of journal articles online and over 44,000 streaming videos, audio clips, CDs, and DVDs as well as over 655,000 e-books/print book titles. The library has about 90 PC and Mac workstations, several highspeed scanner/printers, and wireless access available throughout the building. We host a coffee shop and several academic and administrative offices.
The library has a robust liaison program with each librarian, including the director, assigned to one or more academic departments. The liaisons are experts in these subject areas, ensuring that students and faculty have what they need and know how to use specific databases.
Lynn University Library continues to evolve to serve its creative, innovative community of learners.
