Impact Series: #BlackLivesMatter & Social Justice Resources: Books

A librarian-curated collection of social justice resources related to Black Lives Matter.

A global citizen:

  • Is aware of the wider world and has a sense of their own role as a world citizen.
  • Respects and values diversity.
  • Has an understanding of how the world works.
  • Is passionately committed to social justice.
  • Participates in the community at a range of levels, from the local to the global.
  • Workers with others to make the world a more equitable and sustainable place.
  • Takes responsibility for their actions.

The Lynn Librarians have begun to compile a list of resources to help the Lynn community recognize systemic racism and social injustice in our local, national, and global communities. We encourage all members of our community, especially students, faculty, and staff of color, to contact us to suggest additional resources to add.
