Course Reserves

Search for Course Reserves here. Some faculty place DVDs and books on Reserve behind the information desk, for you to check out briefly, view or read, and then return promptly so they’ll be there for other students in your class. Other faculty members place articles and digital materials in our E-Reserves system.

Getting Stuff from Other Libraries

We will borrow materials for you from another library if Lynn does not own the item. Contact Jared Wellman, Digital Resources Librarian, to make your request. Alternatively, when searching in our LynnQuest catalog, use the button that says “Request Item From Another Library” to make a request. Request Item Button There’s no cost for this service. Delivery takes about 4-10 days. More Info

If you are in south Florida, you can go to other academic libraries in our region and borrow materials in person. Just come to the desk and we’ll give you the card you need to borrow.

You may also consider visiting your local public library to borrow materials.

Suggest a Purchase

We always welcome purchase suggestions. If you know of a database or resource we should purchase, please submit our request form or contact a librarian. Please note we base purchase suggestions on our Collection Policy and can’t fulfill every request..

Getting Textbooks

If you are looking to buy textbooks for your courses, start at the Lynn University Campus Store, and click “Order Your Books.” Once you find your required texts, you can purchase them or look for other textbook ordering options online. Also, as of fall 2015, the library has a print copy of every assigned text for every class, available for 3-hour loan - so search for your books! We may be able to borrow the item for you from another library as well. If you have any trouble finding the books you need for your course, contact the Campus Store.
