I’m the Library Director, and I’m always interested in your ideas for improving our library services, technology, and collections. I got my BA in Anthropology/Archaeology from the University of Chicago, my MLIS from the University of Texas-Austin, and my MBA from Lynn University. I’m originally from Louisville, KY. I love my pets, red wine, cooking/baking, and college football (go Horns!).
I’m a Wisconsin native, but to escape the cold I attended Duke University in North Carolina. Besides getting a good education, I gained a lifelong love for Blue Devil basketball. I have been at the Lynn University Library since 1996. I got my Master of Library Science degree from the University of South Florida in 2006. Since that time, I have been a Reference and Instruction Librarian, teaching students how to discover awesome information sources.

I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading, posing for pictures by pianos, & singing.
I’m the Music Librarian and manage the music library, which I built from scratch when I started working at Lynn. I enjoy collaborating with the students, staff, and faculty from the Conservatory of Music. Please contact me if you need help looking for scores, orchestral excerpts, sound recordings, etc. In my pastime, I like to practice the tea ceremony, and it has become my stress relief and a way to keep in touch with my roots.
I have provided excellent customer service and reference services in museums and libraries across the United States for the past four years at Miami International University of Art & Design, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Institute of Arts and Florida State University Libraries. I am a proud alumnus of Florida State University where I graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Social Science, earned a Graduate Certificate in Museum Theory & Practice, participated in a Museum and Cultural Heritage study abroad in London, and received a Master's degree (MLIS) in Library and Information Studies. I am currently working towards a post-Master's Specialist Degree in Information. I love going to museums, collecting passport stamps, and eating vegan food. You can call me "Information Jason."
I’m the Information Desk Librarian. I supervise our fantastic library assistants, manage the Information Desk, provide library instruction and reference to the phenomenal Lynn University community, and do a variety of library duties. I serve as the co-liaison to the College of Arts and Sciences. My research interests include student engagement and 21st-Century pedagogical methods. Before arriving at Lynn, I spent 16 years at the Birmingham Public Library (AL). My first novel Imogene in New Orleans is a mystery set in New Awluns and my second, The Curse of the Bridal Chamber (Sept 2016), features the same oddball family in a lush Florida park with freshwater springs, mermaids, and an old Hollywood history. In my free time, I like to travel, read, write, explore new places, and spend time at the beach.
