Scholars Help & FAQ

Scholars (formerly referred to as Pure) is Lynn's faculty and staff scholarly and creative works profile tool.

I’m an adjunct. Am I eligible for a Scholars profile?

Due to a limited number of Scholars profile licenses, only full-time Lynn faculty and staff may have a Scholars profile.

I am a full-time faculty or staff member, but I don’t see my profile on Scholars. Can I have one?

Since Scholars is intended to spotlight the scholarship and/or creative output of our faculty and staff, if you have such materials and don’t see your profile, then yes, you should have a profile. Please send an email to Lea Iadarola with a list of your works and fill out the Scholars survey: https://lynn.libwizard.com/f/pure-survey. Please include your name on the survey!

It’s been a while since I filled out the Scholars survey and I still don’t see my profile. Is something wrong?

It’s likely that you’re just in the queue to be added to Scholars or updated. Please be patient. There is only one person creating and updating profiles on Scholars. If you received an email asking for more information from Lea, please get her that info or the creation or updating of your profile may be delayed.

My profile on Pure is not updated with all of my publications. Things aren’t quite right.

Please be patient. All of the metadata isn’t updated 100% yet. If you have a question about it or think items are missing, please reach out to Lea.

Who updates my profile? How to I make changes?

Lea Iadarola, Archivist and Records Manager in the Library
