Find a Topic/Issue

The resources on this page and the library UN SDGs page are designed to help you with the course questions:

  1. Which social, economic, environmental, or political problem has the team chosen and why?
  2. Which communities and individuals, at both the local and global levels, are most directly affected by this problem?
  3. How does the selected issue relate to at least one United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)?
  4. What are some previous efforts that have been conducted at the local and global levels to tackle this issue?
  5. What is your action plan to mitigate the issue/problem?
    • How does your plan differ from and/or advance previous or existing efforts?
    • How does your action plan reflect at least one of Lynn University's Social Impact Pillars?
    • How will your team incorporate the perceptions of those most directly impacted by your plan and how will your plan affect them?

To choose a topic/problem related to the UN SDGs:
  1. review the 17 SDGs
  2. go to the library's UN SDG page and explore each UN SDG goal
  3. research solutions/action plans others have tried - see the links below
  4. search library databases for peer-reviewed sources (about the issue, the people affected, previous efforts)
