Our focus is to provide veterans and Gold Star family members a cost-free program to assist with memoir development, Multitouch book compilation, and self-publishing.

• Enhance the mission of Lynn University Digital Press by serving the local veterans’ community;
• Structure a publishing curriculum sensitive to technological skills of the program’s participants;
• Promote collaboration, communication, and cooperation between participants, university staff, students, veterans service organizations, and the Veterans Administration (VA);
• Provide resources which permit instruction and implementation of the successful publication of a Multi-touch book; and
• Provide a functional coping mechanism to help process emotional effects of trauma.

1. 10 participants will be selected from the pool of submissions;
2. Proof of service (DD 214) or Gold Star Family Designation;
3. Preference is given to Purple Heart recipients, Gold Star Family members and combat veterans, i.e. “infantry, pilots, corpsman, nurses, Coast Guard.”
